    Petronas Twin Towers in Kuala Lumpur was the tallest building when it was completed.

    It is still the tallest twin towers in the world.

    I thought that indoor ice skiing arena built in Dubai was pretty cool.
    “Ski Dubai” I think the name was.

    If you count designed projects, then you cannot beat the X-Seed 4000.

    4 km tall
    6×6 km base
    1 Million inhabitants
    $1 Trillion to build

    It would fascinating to see this thing if it were to get built.

    The Beijing Olympic buildings come to mind form a structural engineering standpoint. And from a structural/mechanical E standpoint, the Three Gorges Dam definitely stands out.
