    Engineers do not build bridges. Bridges are built by the laborers, Engineers design bridges.

    It’s a trick question, engineers don’t build bridges, structural engineers design them

    I don’t know why the first two people who said “structural engineer” got a thumbs down. Since structural engineering is a specialty in the civil engineering field it is just a more precice version of the answer “civil engineer”.

    Good points so far… When I read it, I was going to be a smart-ass too and say laborers. ;)
    Civil Engineers and Structural Engineers. It really depends on the licensing state. Structural Engineers are a specialization within Civil Engineering. Some states require a professional engineering license (PE) in Structural or even Structural II, while others accept a Civil PE.
