What type of bridge should i make? (Spaghetti and glue)?

PYRO214 asked:

Our team of 4 won an engineering competition at our university. We now have to compete at the Western championship but they wont tell us what the objective is until we get there. Last year the challenge was to build a bridge.

What type of bridge would be most efficient given the following

Criteria:
-materials include raw spaghetti and glue
-has to span a distance of 1 meter

Consider the two scenarios:
-using the least amount of material, to carry the largest amount of weight.
-using a set amount of material, to carry the largest amount of weight.

Thanks for any suggestions and ideas =)

I would make Tower Bridge in London. It is a pretty bridge and architecturally it is amazing. Structurally it is hard to make but if you can then make it.
